How to replace the lower control arm ball joint on 2008 Chevrolet Impala?

Before installing the new Ball Joint you need to support and elevate the vehicle. Step two begins with taking off the tires before continuing. Put the lower Control Arm in a dependable clamp before beginning work with it. Insert the correct drill in the lower Control Arm and eliminate the rivet heads afterward use a hammer and punch to remove the remaining fasteners. Next disconnect the Ball Joint from the lower Control Arm. To install the new Ball Joint position it first into the lower Control Arm with bolts pointing downward then tighten them. Fasten and snug the new Ball Joint retaining nuts to 68 n.m (50 lb ft). Place the reinstalled lower Control Arm then fit the tires and wheels. At the end lower the vehicle after taking away the support system.
