How to replace the Exhaust Pipe for RPOs LZE/LZ4/LZ8 (3.5L) on 2008 Chevrolet Impala?

The first step to change the exhaust crossover pipe for the 3.5l models using rpos lze/lz4/lz8 consists of removing the air cleaner outlet duct and heat shield bolts followed by the heat shield. Start by removing exhaust crossover pipe nuts and proceed with taking out both the pipe with its accompanying seals. Start with placing exhaust crossover pipe seals onto the exhaust manifolds before installing the crossover pipe. The exhaust crossover pipe nut torque should reach 20 n.m (15 lb ft) before attaching the heat shield through its appropriate bolts while tightening them to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Install the air cleaner intake duct as the last step of the process.
