First locate the striker position by marking it with grease pencil before removing screws from the door striker to take out the striker. Position the new striker according to the marked installation mark before securing it with screws while tightening each screw to 20 N.m (15 lb ft). The door striker adjustment should be conducted to specification before checking the functionality of the door. Reinstallation of the front or rear trim should be completed before installing both the body lock pillar lower trim and the lower center pillar trim.
