How to replace the door striker anchor plate on 2009 Chevrolet Malibu?

To change the door striker anchor plate, first pull out the body lock pillar lower trim, and the lower center pillar trim. Mark the position of striker with a grease pencil and then take out the screws of the door striker and take out the striker . For installation, place the striker in the door opening, aligning it with the marks made previously. Install the screws onto the striker and torque to 20Nm (15 lb ft) Adjust the door striker accordingly and ensure the door is working properly. Lastly, install the front or rear trim if it was removed, then body lock pillar lower trim and the lower center pillar trim.
