The hvac module assembly must be removed first before proceeding with the removal of center floor air outlet duct screws and the duct itself. The lower hvac module case requires heat stake drilling before removing all of its screws and case. You must first discard sealing washers from the thermal expansion valve after removing its screws and valve. Before adding the Evaporator with new pag(R) oil, use the specified pag(R) oil amount for a direct application. Fit the Evaporator and new sealing washers on it before installing the thermal expansion valve which should be fastened with screws at 7 n.m (62 lb in). Fasten together the lower hvac module case along with its screws at a torque setting of 1.5 n.m corresponding to 13 lb in. The final task includes installing the center floor air outlet duct followed by screw installation with a torque of 1.5 n.m (13 lb in). The hvac module assembly completes the overall process.
