To replace the blower motor, first take off the right closeout panel and then disconnect the wires from the blower motor. Cut through the case as straight as possible, make sure not to cut too deep, and then use a regular utility knife to carefully cut out the blower motor in the smaller gap at the bottom of the case. Remove the blower motor and its nuts first, then carefully take the blower motor out of the blower motor cup. For installation, put the new blower motor inside the blower compartment and make sure to screw it on using the torque shown on the Fastener Notice. Tighten the nuts to 2.4 N.m, which is about 21 pounds of force. Next, join the motor blower seal with the blower motor service ring, put the blower motor in, and fasten it to the car using the attachment ring and screws, making sure to tighten the screws until you reach 1.5 N.m or 13 lb in. Finally, connect the wires from the blower motor to the connector, then put the right panel back in place.
