How to Replace a Power Steering Hose in the Reservoir Inlet Pipe on 2008 Chevrolet Malibu?

The first step to replace the Power Steering Reservoir inlet pipe/hose needs a start by removing the intake manifold cover. The clamp should be compressed until the Power Steering Reservoir inlet pipe can be detached from the Power Steering Reservoir. First detach the generator bracket stud attachments which include both the nut and the Power Steering Hose routing clip . You should disassemble the clamp before removing the Power Steering Reservoir inlet pipe from the power steering gear outlet pipe. Clamp placement should be done onto the power steering gear outlet pipe before securely attaching the Power Steering Reservoir inlet pipe to it. Fasten the Power Steering Hose routing clip to the generator bracket stud together with the nut while tightening it to 5 n.m (45 lb in). Position the clamp on the Power Steering Reservoir inlet pipe before installing it to the same reservoir. Finish the process by reinstalling the intake manifold cover followed by power steering system fill-up and bleeding.
