How to replace the Windshield Washer Pump on 2008 Chevrolet Malibu?

Start the windshield Washer Pump installation by taking off the front wheelhouse panel splash shield. Break your connection to both the Washer Pump hose and electrical connector on the Washer Pump. Take a flat tool to pull out the Washer Pump from the washer solvent container and collect its windshield fluid in a new safe container. Insert a flat-bladed tool to take off the Washer Pump terminal seal from the washer solvent container. Push the Washer Pump terminal seal into the washer solvent container to install it there. Place the complete windshield washer solvent on the terminal seal before fitting the Washer Pump into the washer solvent container. Connect both electrical connector and Washer Pump hose to Washer Pump components. With washer solvent inserted you should install the front wheelhouse panel and check all washer system functions.
