Take the park neutral switch aligner (J 41364-A) off along with any relevant positive assurance brackets. Use the switch aligner tool (J 41364-A) to link the switch electrical connector before installing the manual lever on its shaft while tightening the nut to 20 n.m (15 lb ft). Verify the switch operates correctly by starting the engine only in p (PARK) or n (NEUTRAL) positions after adjusting the automatic transmission range selector cable and lowering the vehicle.
