How to replace the windshield wiper motor on 2008 GMC Canyon?

In order to install the windshield wiper motor, it is necessary to first position the wiper arms to 1/2 wipe position and switch the ignition key to OFF. Take off the wiper arms, air inlet grille panel and wiper transmission. Attach the Wiper Linkage Separator and disconnect the transmission linkage, and then wipe motor. Oil the socket and put the new motor in.
