How to replace the defroster Blend Door Actuator on 2008 GMC Envoy?

If you are replacing the defroster actuator, you first need to remove the I/P carrier and disconnect the electrical connector from the defroster actuator. Then, unscrew the screws that hold the defroster actuator in place, and extract the actuator. To install simply position the new defroster actuator and align with Fastener Notice for the right fastening. Fix the actuator with screws and tighten it to the value of 1.9 N.m (17 lb.in). Connect the electrical connector back to the actuator. Finally, reinstall the I/P carrier.
