  A: Firstremove the Fuel Rail assembly while disconnecting the Fuel Injector electrical harness connectors from each Fuel Injector before proceeding. First use caution to remove Fuel Injector retainer clips before extracting fuel injectors from the Fuel Rail assembly. Both components need disposal of existing retainer clips along with their o-ring seals which exist on both injector ends. The approach to acquiring new fuel injectors should commence with an identification of the Fuel Injector assembly part number followed by checking its four-digit build date code for proper part selection. Clean engine oil should be used to lubricate new injector o-ring seals before installing them onto Fuel Injector end caps (2, 4). Insert a new retainer clip on the injector before pushing fuel injectors through the Fuel Rail injector socket towards its socket with the electrical connector positioned outward until the clip locks onto a flange on the Fuel Rail socket. After connecting the Fuel Injector electrical harness connectors to the fuel injectors reinstall the Fuel Rail assembly.
