How to replace the Lash Adjusters on 2008 GMC Sierra 1500?

In order to change the valve lifters, pull out the intake manifold, pushrods and store parts in a rack. Wipe out bolts and lifter pushrod guide and leave lifters upright. Extraction of stuck lifters with a Valve Lifter Remover. Check the camshaft, inspect the wear, clean the bores. Grease new lifters and fit in then guides and pushrods.
