To change the lash adjusters in the LH6, LMG, LY5 and L76 engines, take away the cylinder head and the gasket. Removal of lash adjuster guide bolts and guides and their locations. Clean and lubricate the lash adjusters, and re-install them making sure that they are positioned correctly. Lastly, reconnect the gasket and the cylinder head.
