The first step involves removing the generator bracket lower bolt which secures the coolant inlet pipe followed by the belt tensioner. The procedure continues with removal of the generator bracket bolts before taking out the generator bracket. Reinstallation of the generator bracket starts with proper placement of the component first. Fasten the generator bracket bolts starting with (1, 2) to 50 nm (37 lb ft) then (3) to 23 nm (17 lb ft). Installation begins with reattaching the belt tensioner after which you should install the coolant inlet pipe lower bolt from the generator bracket before reinserting the generator.
