  A: High side fuel system pressure must be eliminated before starting Fuel Injector replacement. Mark the positions of the injectors because this information will guide correct installation alignment. The first step involves taking out the fuel injection Fuel Rail assembly followed by discarding the three Fuel Injector retaining rings. The removal process requires detaching the direct fuel injectors together with their harness as one assembly while disconnecting the electrical connector. The j 2619-01 with the j-37281-a tool should be used to evenly extract the injectors.
