• Q: How to replace the Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly for Bank 1 on 2009 Cadillac CTS?

  A: A technician must first drain the fuel system pressure before starting the replacement of bank 1 fuel injection Fuel Rail assembly. First break away the cross vehicle brace followed by removal of the fuel pipe shield and then disconnect the Intake Manifold. After discarding the high pressure fuel pipe you should proceed to remove the Fuel Rail crossover pipe that needs disposal. Start by removing the Fuel Rail insulation foam material and disconnect the electrical connector of the Fuel Pressure Sensor before cutting off the wire harness retention straps.
