How to replace the Lash Adjuster on the left side on 2009 Cadillac XLR?

The procedure begins with left valve Rocker Arm removal followed by appropriate matching of camshaft followers to original stationary hydraulic Lash Adjuster (SHLA) positions and locations. Clean the lash adjusters while checking their condition following shla extraction from the left cylinder head bores. The left shla installation requires engine oil filling when the Crankshaft reaches the number one cylinder's top dead center (TDC) position while avoiding contact with the pivot sphere surface. Pour clean engine oil onto the cylinder head's shla bores before sliding the shla bore into position. Replace the remaining left valve rocker arms.
