How to replace the cabin air filter on 2009 Chevrolet Aveo?

You should first open the instrument panel compartment then grasp both sides of the glove box to extract it from its housing to replace the passenger compartment air filter. You must initiate the filter cover removal by pressing the lower retaining tab to expose it and pulling the cover away from the compartment while taking out the old passenger compartment air filter. Before installing the new filter you must properly orient the air flow arrows located on it. The filter cover needs replacement following installation while the glove box should return to its panel position by attaching the retaining tabs before box closure.
