Start your Blower Motor Resistor replacement by disconnecting both the negative Battery Cable and electric connector. Take the retaining screws out of the resistor and pull the part downward to uninstall it. Install the new resistor in the heater/air distribution case and use screws to fasten it before tightening each screw to 6 nm while applying 53 lb in force. You need to join both the Battery Cable negative terminal and the electrical connection to the resistor. End your check with a test of the blower operation.
