How to replace the A/C Switch in a hatchback on 2009 Chevrolet Aveo?

In a hatchback, in order to replace the heater and air conditioning control, you should, firstly, disconnect the negative Battery Cable. Rmoe the instrument panel lower trim panel and the instrument panel lower center trim. Next remove the hvac controller retaining screws and pull out the controller to make room for the removal of the cables, remembering where the cables and housing are located for reinstallation. Remove the mechanical control cables by prying of the cable eyelet and unsnapping the cable housing from the mechanical slide and then disconnect the electrical connectors. For installation, attach electrical connectors to corresponding sockets of the rear of the controller, install the mechanical cable housings in their respective locations, insert the eyelets onto proper posts. Insert gently the controller into its position on the instrument panel then install the left and right controller retaining screws and tighten the same to 3 nm (27 lb in). Reinstate the instrument panel lower center trim, then replace the instrument panel lower trim panel and re-hookup the negative Battery Cable. Lastly, check the proper work of the controller by shifting it through all of the possible working places for it.
