How to replace the A/C Switch in a hatchback on 2010 Chevrolet Aveo?

To replace the heater and air conditioning control in a hatchback, you are required to disconnect the negative Battery Cable first. You should remove instrument panel lower trim panel and the instrument panel lower center trim. Next, remove the hvac controller retaining screws and pull the controller out to make space for cable removal, being mindful of cable and housing positions to reinstall. Remove the mechanical control cables by pulled out the cable eyelet and unclipping the cable housing off the mechanical slide and then disconnect the wires. For installing, hook the electrical connector to the correct sokat on the rear of the controller, instal the mechanical cable housings in correct positions, and push the eyelets to the correct posts. Carefully slide the controller into its position on the instrument panel and fasten the left and right controller retaining screws, making sure they are fully tightened to 3 nm (27 lb in). Replace/reinstall the instrument panel lower center trim and the instrument panel lower trim panel then reconnect the negative Battery Cable. Finally, check that the controller will operate normally by taking it through all the possible modes of operation.
