2010 Chevrolet Aveo A/C Condenser Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to replace the A/C Condenser on 2010 Chevrolet Aveo?
A: You should start by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable while discharging and recovering refrigerant as the first step to replace the air conditioning condenser. Start by unfastening the condenser retaining bolt for the liquid pipe connector block as well as the condenser bolt secure to the refrigerant discharge hose. First cover all openings with caps to stop contamination while you begin taking off the Radiator. First remove the Radiator's condenser mount bolts before taking out the condenser. To begin the installation process install new o-rings on receiver-dryer tube fittings and check if condenser rubber mounts are in position before mounting the condenser to the Radiator while locking the lower mount shock protectors into the designated holes. Screw in the condenser mount bolts until upper condenser bolts reach 8 nm (70 lb in). Follow the Radiator installation with condenser bolt tightening of both connector block bolts to 16 nm (12 lb ft) and 14 nm (10 lb ft) respectively. After conclusion of all steps the technician needs to reconnect the negative Battery Cable and start evacuating and charging the a/c system.
