2010 Chevrolet Aveo Evaporator Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the air conditioning evaporator core on 2010 Chevrolet Aveo?
A: The replacement process of an air conditioning Evaporator core begins by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. Start by removing the instrument panel assembly while keeping the door actuating linkage safe from damage. Remove the heater/air distribution case assembly after it. Begin by unscrewing the Evaporator case cover and afterward detach its accessory plate to ease removal of the Evaporator core from its housing. The installation process begins with inserting new o-rings onto Evaporator tubes before inserting the Evaporator core into the case while keeping the flange at the center of the opening. Screw the Evaporator core case cover into place and reinstall the heater/air distribution case and the instrument panel assembly. The last step requires reconnection of the negative Battery Cable and a complete a/c system evacuation and recharge process.
