How to replace the A/C Switch in a hatchback on Chevrolet Aveo?

To remove the A/C Switch in a hatchback, first remove the negative cable from the battery. Pull out the instrument panel lower cover and remove the hvac controller retention screws. Remove the cable and pull it out, making sure you remember where the cables and their housings were to replace them later. Very carefully try to remove the cable eyelet and unsnap the cable housing from the mechanical slide to remove the mechanical control cables and remove the electrical connectors. For the installation, connect the electrical sockets to the necessary sockets in the back of the controller, install the mechanical cable housings in the respective positions and push the eyelets against the relevant posts. Put the controller into the Center Console, then install the lower left and lower right controller retaining screws and tighten them to 3 n.m (27 lb in). Reinstate the instrument panel lower cover and replace the negative Battery Cable. Finally, check the work of the controller in all its positions of its operating.
