How to replace Blower Control Switches on Chevrolet Aveo? Posted by Customer
    A:
To remove blower motor switch, disconnect negative Battery Cable first. After that, take out hvac control assembly ensuring that the guide for the hatchback or notchback model is followed. After that, remove the screws that attach the switch assembly to the knob mount support and take out the switch assembly while noting the positions of the spring, electrical contact washer, and contact key/keyway on the knob post. For installation, position the spring and electrical contact washer over the blower switch knob post, align its contact key with the post keyway, and align the switch assembly with the mount posts. Screw the switch assembly, and plug the electrical connectors at the back of the control assembly. Reinstall the hvac control assembly following the model specifications and the negative Battery Cable. Lastly, conduct an operational check on blower switch positions.
