How to replace the cabin air filter on 2008 Chevrolet Aveo?

Open the instrument panel compartment then grip the glove box by both sides to remove it from its housing. Press the bottom retaining tab of the filter cover then pull it downward to expose the old passenger compartment air filter. Place the new filter into the housing after making sure you properly orient its air flow arrows. When the installation is finished position the glove box into the instrument panel slot before pressing the retaining tabs into place. After that simply close the glove box.
