  A: The process of replacing the Intake Manifold without variable camshaft phasing starts by removing the fuel pump Fuse followed by running the engine until it stalls before cranking for ten seconds to reduce fuel pressure. You need to cut off the Battery Cable and empty the coolant before disconnecting the iat sensor connector along with the Throttle Body air tube and iac valve connector and the tps connector and ect sensor connector and heater inlet hose and Throttle Body surge tank coolant hose. The procedure requires removing the Throttle Body cable and all vacuum hoses before removing the Fuel Injector rail with its associated fuel injectors assembled together. Start by detaching the bolts securing the alternator adjusting bracket followed by the bracket itself and the Intake Manifold support bracket bolts along with the manifold which requires new gasket insertion before cleaning all sealing surfaces. Place the new Intake Manifold Gasket followed by installing the Intake Manifold and tightening its retaining nuts/bolts to 25 nm (18 lb ft) by using the specified sequence. Affix the Intake Manifold support bracket before securing its upper and lower bolts with torque to 25 nm (18 lb ft) and 40 nm (30 lb ft) respectively. Refit the Fuel Rail along with the fuel injectors while connecting the throttle cable and all vacuum lines which were previously disconnected. Reinstall also the heater inlet hose and the surge tank coolant hose. First install the alternator adjusting bracket and bolt and torque them to 15 nm (11 lb ft) before reinstalling the alternator adjusting bolt and Drive Belt which requires a 15 nm (11 lb ft) torque setting. The last step involves connecting the ect sensor and iac valve and tps and air intake tube and iat sensor along with the pcm/ecm ground terminal to the Intake Manifold and reinstalling the fuel pump Fuse and reconnecting the negative Battery Cable and refilling the engine cooling system.
