The Chevrolet Aveo Intake Manifold is undoubtedly a crucial part to help improve the car's performance and durability, and this useful part is applicable to several models of Chevrolet Aveo series, manufactured between 2002- 2020. This Intake Manifold serves to effectively channel A/I or the air/fuel mixture to the cylinder head intake port, dictating the output power of the engine and its effectiveness. Chevrolet Aveo engines are 1.2 L, 1.4 L and 1.8 L Ecotec I4; all these engines have been improved by Intake Manifold engineering. Finally, the recent models of Aveo incorporate lightweight composite plastic materials to increase the fuel efficiency and also help in convection, making the Chevrolet Aveo Intake Manifold to be exceptional in the market. Others are equipped with variable-length intake manifolds (VLIM) which adjust the air intake passages according to the engine load in order to get more power and safety. The fact that Chevrolet Aveo Intake Manifold supports different kinds of engines allows the drivers to get consistent power supply and increase acceleration rates, the top speed being 176 km/h. This Intake Manifold is very important when it comes to the efficiency of the engine and this has greatly helped to shape the Chevrolet Aveo into what it is today when it comes to reliability and performance. Therefore the Chevrolet Aveo Intake Manifold reflects a well-established quality and innovations that denote the Chevrolet brand in the market.

Chevrolet Aveo Intake Manifold Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the intake manifold with variable camshaft phasing on Chevrolet Aveo?
    A:
Start your Intake Manifold replacement by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. First lower the fuel pressure before removing the air cleaner assembly. Start by disconnecting the Intake Manifold power steering pressure pipe clamp followed by removing sensor and actuator connectors from their mounting points and pulling the engine wiring harness away. You must first separate the Fuel Rail's fuel line and subsequently disconnect the etc coolant inlet/outlet hoses before moving them to the side. Free the pcv hose from both the cylinder head cover and the etc unit. Disassemble the electric throttle controller (ETC) while simultaneously taking out the Intake Manifold with its gasket. New gaskets should be used during installation and bolts securing the Intake Manifold should be tightened to 20 nm (14.7 lb ft) and the lower bracket bolt should receive 8 nm (70.8 lb in) torque. First reassemble the electric throttle controller (ETC) alongside the cylinder head cover before attaching the pcv hose to the etc and mounting the etc coolant inlet/outlet hoses. Install the fuel line to the Fuel Rail while connecting each sensor and actuator connector that includes the a/c pressure sensor (ACP) and cam position solenoid valve in addition to the electric throttle controller (ETC) and manifold air pressure (MAP) sensor and evap solenoid valve and injectors. The power steering pressure pipe gets attached to the Intake Manifold while reinstalling the air cleaner assembly with the battery negative cable connection completed.
