How to Remove and Replace the Air Bag Clockspring Assembly on 2009 Chevrolet Equinox?

The front wheels must be straight and the SIR system must be turned off when the Air Bag Clock Spring Assembly is replaced. Remove steering wheel module and column covers, disconnect the SIR coil and horn/cruise connectors and slide off the SIR coil assembly. Restoring the system must be done by reversing these steps and activating the SIR system.
