    To replace the air bag clock spring, has to first, make sure the front wheels are straight and the Steering Wheel in the middle, as it will replace the new sir coil assembly will also be in the middle to avoid typing damage and malfunctions. Turn off the sir system, then detach the air bag clock spring as well as the Steering Wheel and the Steering Column covers. To remove the seat, the seat harness cables must also be disassembled. It is highly because it is situated in the back. Using a little flat bladed tool, carefully pry the two retaining tabs at base of the sir coil assembly and slide it off Steering Column. Then, you should get rid of the headlamp/turn signal switch and the wiper washer switch underpinning the modification of the sir coil module assembly. For installation: install wiper washer switch, then install the headlamp/turn sign switch, and screw it in. Ensure that the sir coil is centered and move the sir coil assembly up the column, and snap it into position. Reattach the wiper/washer harness connector, the head lamp/turn signal harness connector, and the sir coil harness connector to the sir coil module assembly. Finally, install the Steering Column covers, the Steering Wheel, and the air bag clock spring, and turned on the sir system.

    Before attempting to replace the air bag clock spring assembly (Spiral Cable) and the Steering Wheel inflatable restraint module coil start by checking that the front wheels are aligned straight and the Steering Wheel stands at the center position. Begin by disabling the sir system and removing the inflatable restraint Steering Wheel module and then proceed with removing the Steering Wheel and steering column covers. /components from disconnecting the sir coil harness connector, headlamp/turn signal harness connector, and wiper/washer harness connector that attach to the sir coil module assembly. Insert a small flat-bladed tool beneath the two base retaining tabs of the sir coil assembly and then gently pry to open them before sliding the assembly off the steering column. The headlamp/turn signal switch and wiper washer switch must be detached from the sir coil module assembly. Mount the wiper washer switch on the sir coil module assembly before doing the headlamp/turn signal switch and finally screw down the headlamp/turn signal switch screws. Reposition the sir coil into the center and mount the sir coil assembly onto the steering column before locking it into its final position. Reattach the wiper/washer harness connector as well as the headlamp/turn signal harness connector and the sir coil harness connector to their respective locations on the sir coil module assembly. Reestablish the Steering Wheel after reinstalling steering column covers together with the inflatable restraint Steering Wheel module and enable the sir system.
