How to replace the Vehicle Speed Sensor at the output location on 2009 Chevrolet Equinox?

The procedure to replace the output speed sensor begins by removing the battery tray. Disengage the electrical connector from the output shaft speed sensor followed by removing its bolt to extract the output speed sensor and its O-ring. Apply GM T-IV automatic transaxle fluid GM P/N 88900925 to the new output speed sensor O-ring before installing it onto the output speed sensor . Insert the output speed sensor into the transmission case assembly with all necessary fastening procedures followed. Secure the output speed sensor bolt with a torque setting of 5 Nm (44 lb in) before reconnecting the electrical connector to the output shaft speed sensor. Finally, reinstall the battery tray.
