How to Replace a Vehicle Speed Sensor for Input on 2008 Chevrolet Equinox?

The first step in input speed sensor replacement begins with removing the battery tray. Begin by disconnecting the electrical connector that accesses the input speed sensor and finally remove the input speed sensor bolt and the sensor itself. Before installing the input speed sensor discard the worn o-ring. At the beginning of installation apply gm t-iv automatic transaxle fluid (GM P/N 88900925) to the new o-ring of the input speed sensor before sensor installation. Follow the fastener notice before installing the input speed sensor to the transaxle then torque the input speed sensor bolt to 6 n.m (53 lb in). To finish the installation you should first reconnect the electrical connector to the input speed sensor then replace the battery tray.
