How to replace the instrument panel Fuse Box on 2008 Chevrolet Equinox?

The first procedure before replacing the instrument panel electrical center or junction block requires users to note down preset radio stations along with selecting the off position on the ignition. The first step involves removing the screws from the battery cooling box then detaching the battery cover. The Battery Cable negative connection needs to be first removed following the negative connection. First disconnect the console and the nut securing three fuse block connectors that connect to the back of the i/p fuse block including the body connector and the i/p connector along with the i/p connector. The bolt that connects the fuse block along with the ground wire requires removal for you to extract the fuse block. Attach the ground wire together with the bolt to the new fuse block before tightening the bolt to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Tighten all harness connectors to the rear side of the i/p fuse block at 4 n.m (35 lb in). The technician should reinstall the console before connecting both positive and negative battery cables one after another while tightening bolts to 17 n.m (13 lb ft). Conclude by replacing the battery cooling box cover along with its screws while applying 2 n.m torque (18 lb in) then set radio stations to original preset settings.
