To replace the input speed sensor, untie the battery tray and disconnect the wiring harness from the input speed sensor. Next, extract the input speed sensor bolt and the input speed sensor itself with its o-ring that must be disposed of. For installation, apply gm t-iv automatic transaxle fluid gm p/n 88900925 to new input speed sensor o-ring and mate it to the input speed sensor. After that, install the input speed sensor to the transaxle, keeping in mind the fastener notice, and attach it with the input speed sensor bolt and tighten it to 6 n.m (53 lb in). Lastly, reconnect the wiring harness to the input speed sensor and reinstall the battery tray.
