How to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor on 2007 Chevrolet Equinox?

First, lift the vehicle to change the crankshaft position sensor. Remove the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor electrical connector, then take out CKP sensor nut and the CKP sensor from the engine. If using the CKP sensor again, inspect it for wear and cracks and leak. During installation, lubricate the O-ring with clean engine oil and replace the O-rings if broken. The CKP sensor should be installed to the block, and then the CKP sensor nut should be installed, later tighten it up with 11 N.m (97 lb in). Lastly, attach the CKP sensor electrical connection and lower down the vehicle.
