First, you have to lift the vehicle to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor. Then disconnect the CKP sensor electrical connector and remove the CKP sensor nut and remove the CKP sensor from the engine. If not using the CKP sensor, inspect it for any wear, crack, or leakage. During installation, apply clean engine oil to the O-ring and replace any dented O-rings. Install the CKP sensor to the block and adhere to the Fastener Notice. Next, tighten the CKP sensor nut to 11 N.m (97 lb in). At last, reconnect the electrical connector of CKP sensor and bring down the vehicle.
