  A: It is necessary to remove the injector sight shield to replace the ignition cables. Twist the ignition cable boot one half turn to release it, then only pull on the boot not to damage the wire. After that, unscrew the retaining clips of the ignition cables on the left side and the right side spark plugs and take the corresponding ignition cables off. After that, disconnect the ignition cables from the ignition coil/control module and from the engine. When changing the ignition cables, transfer the boot heat shields, ignition cable conduit and ignition cable retaining clips. Several ways to install ignition cables to an ignition coil/control module, then to the right side spark plug security with retaining clips. Do this again for the left-side spark plugs, making sure they are also attached by the retaining clips, and re-instate the injector sight shield.
