How to replace the MAP Sensor on 2009 Chevrolet Equinox?

The first procedure when replacing the manifold absolute pressure sensor involves disconnecting its manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector. Start by removing the MAP Sensor retaining bolt along with bracket and extract the MAP Sensor with any attached MAP Sensor port seal. Place the MAP Sensor directly onto the Intake Manifold after positioning it properly as per fastener caution requirements. Fasten the MAP Sensor retaining bracket onto position followed by bolt installation. Torque the bolt to 10 nm (89 lb in) finally. Reconnect the electrical connection to the MAP Sensor.
