How to replace the blower motor resistor on 2009 Chevrolet Equinox?

To remove the Blower Motor Resistor, first take out the right lower insulator panel. Unplug the electrical connector of the blower motor resistor, remove the blower control module screws from the HVAC module and take out the blower motor resistor. For installation, place the blower motor resistor on the HVAC module with due regard to fastener precautions. Screw down the blower motor resistor to 1.5 Nm (13 lb-in), connect and reconnect the electrical connector. Lastly, reinstall the proper lower insulator panel.
