How to replace the throttle body assembly on 2009 Chevrolet Equinox?

Start the Throttle Body assembly replacement by removing both the air cleaner intake duct and heater outlet pipe. The Throttle Body opening needs a shop towel as protection while you blow clean dirt from the base using shop air. The tac module electrical connector requires disconnect by tugging its connector lock upward then remove the Throttle Body bolts from the Intake Manifold while blocking the opening with a clean shop towel to stop dirt entry. Remove Throttle Body studs if required. You need to tighten the Throttle Body studs to 6 nm (53 lb in) if you removed them for installation. Place the Throttle Body onto the Intake Manifold before tightening the Throttle Body bolts at 10 nm force (89 lb in torque). Press down on the tac module electrical connector lock to set it while reconnecting the components. After installation complete the heater outlet pipe reinstallation alongside the air cleaner intake duct.
