2009 Chevrolet Impala Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to replace the Fuel Pressure Sensor (NU6) on 2009 Chevrolet Impala?
A: Start the replacement of Fuel Tank pressure sensor (NU6) by taking out the Fuel Tank. The wiring harness for the Fuel Tank must be disconnected from the Fuel Pressure Sensor electrical connector. The separation process of the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister remains optional for this operation. A small flat blade instrument should be used to lift the Fuel Pressure Sensor loose from its position within the evap canister. Before installing the Fuel Pressure Sensor to the evap canister apply clean engine oil with a tiny amount to the fuel pressure seal. The installation process completes with the wire harness of the Fuel Tank which must connect to the Fuel Pressure Sensor before tank reinstallation.
