How to replace the Fuse Box on 2009 Chevrolet Impala?

The first step toward replacing the accessory wiring junction block includes first removing the electrical center cover then disconnecting the positive Battery Cable from the junction box. Then disconnect the fasteners which attach the electrical center board and then free the tabs allowing you to lift the board up. Send the fasteners through the disconnection process attaching the electrical center bracket to the vehicle. The electrical center should be fixed to the vehicle using fasteners that you should tighten to 10 nm (86 lb in). Secure the electrical center board fasteners to 7 nm then tighten them (62 lb in). Reestablish the positive Battery Cable while you also put back the electrical center cover in place.
