You should take off the engine front cover before replacing the left side Timing Chain. Then, remove the tensioner (Tensioner) from the right bank Timing Chain, the shoe (Shoe) and finally the guide (Guide). Remove the chain (Chain) on the right timing drive, the tensioner (Tensioner), the upper guide from the primary drive (Guide) and the primary drive chain (Chain). Next, take out the right bank camshaft Timing Chain idler, the left bank Timing Chain Tensioner, the left bank Timing Chain shoe, the left bank Timing Chain Guide and the left bank camshaft Timing Chain idler. Lastly, take out the Timing Chain on the left bank camshaft and look over and possibly replace the timing drive system parts. Install in this order: the left bank Timing Chain, then the left bank camshaft Timing Chain idler, the left bank Timing Chain Guide, the left bank Timing Chain shoe and finally the left bank Timing Chain Tensioner. After that, install the correct bank camshaft Timing Chain idler (Idler), the primary camshaft drive chain (Chain), the primary upper camshaft drive chain guide (Guide) and the primary camshaft drive chain tensioner (Tensioner). The next step is to add the right bank Timing Chain (Chain), the guide or clamp (Guide), the shoe (Shoe) and the tensioner (Tensioner). Lastly, put in the new engine front cover.
