How to replace the water pump (LF1/LLT) on 2010 Cadillac CTS?

You must empty the cooling system before starting to replace the Water Pump (LF1/LLT). Step 2 requires you to take off the generator Drive Belt. Mount the Water Pump Pulley securely in the en 46104 tool and remove all Water Pump bolt and pulley components. Choose the Water Pump bolts and take out the Water Pump unit before disposing of the old Water Pump seal. Use proper cleaning tools to prepare both sides of the Water Pump unit for installation. Put in the fresh Water Pump seal and Water Pump component while setting Water Pump bolts at 89 lb in tightness. Use en 46104's (Water Pump Pulley Holding Tool) to hold the Water Pump Pulley during installation then fasten its bolts to 12 nm (106 lb in). After that put the new generator Drive Belt in place and add cooling system fluid.
