How to replace the Engine Coolant Fan Motor (LF1, LLT) on 2010 Cadillac CTS?

The replacement process of the engine coolant Fan Motor (LF1, LLT) starts with removal of the cooling Fan Shroud. You should remove both the cooling Fan Shroud and then separate the cooling fan after it. Detach the motor from the shroud by removing first the motor retaining screws. Start by mounting the motor onto the shroud before continuing with the installation process while following recommended fastening procedures. Fasten the motor using retaining screws before tightening them to 7 nm (62 lb in). After installation of the cooling fan the Fan Shroud must be reattached.
