2010 Cadillac DTS Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the cabin air filter on 2010 Cadillac DTS?
A: The passenger compartment Air Filter traps most of the air entering the vehicle from pollen and can be replaced from time to time. The access panel for filter is requested at the one outside the hood by the windshield, on the side of the passenger. To access the filter, use a tool to unlock the cover till the vehicle has tabs for removing it using fingers. Then, put a tool in the push pin on the inboard side of the Air Filter compartment, and gently pull it out. To take off the Air Filter, using a tool, push between the Air Filter and the compartment wall on the outboard side with a flat motion to release the pin that is keeping the filter on the compartment. Softly remove the Air Filter and any loose trash in the compartment. Finally, push the new Air Filter all the way until you hear a click, reattach the push pin, snapp the cover back on.
