How to replace the positive battery cable without TP2 on 2010 Cadillac Escalade ESV?

The procedure for changing the battery positive cable requires tp2 disconnect along with the negative Battery Cable removal at the start. Start by removing the underhood fuse block cover followed by lifting storage holders from their locked state which requires rotating them open. First detach the battery positive connector from its base position in the underhood fuse block while properly repositioning the fuse block. The first step in cable replacement without tp2 involves removing the plenum front panel stud retainers then uncovering the battery fuse block. Uninstall the positive cable battery connector nut from the battery fuse block while pulling the positive Battery Cable outside of the vehicle. Install the battery positive cable into the battery fuse block by using nut and tighten it to 10 nm (88 lb in). Fit the battery positive cable retainers onto the upper plenum before applying clip nuts to stud fixtures on the upper plenum. Place the battery positive cable connector onto the underhood fuse block before putting the fuse block retainers into an open position for installation purposes. Place the junction block within the set of bracket pivots before pressing down the retainers to reach the locked position. After finishing up all steps you should reattach the underhood fuse block cover and reset the negative terminal of the battery.
