Without the en-46106 (Flywheel Holding Tool) in place the Crankshaft can rotate thereby forcing engineers to take down and rebuild the entire camshaft timing structure. Begin by installing the en-46106 flywheel holding tool to lock the Crankshaft before removing the applicable cylinder's Spark Plug and placing the en-39313 (Spark Plug Port Adapter) to a compressed air supply. The en-46110 (On-Vehicle Valve Spring Compressor) needs to be positioned above the target cylinder before tightening its nut. Use this procedure to remove valve keepers before loosening the compressor nut to extract the valve spring retainer and spring. Install a valve stem seal either by using the en-46116 (Valve Stem Seal Remover/Installer) device or by following its instructions. The installation starts with the en-46116 tool for installing new valve stem seals and continues with valve spring and retainer installation. Secure the en-46110 compressor above the valve spring with its nut tightened before reinstalling the valve spring keepers while removing the compressor. Remove the en-39313 from its air connection before uninstalling it and reattaching the spark plugs and rocker arms.
