How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) for Bank 2 Sensor 1 on 2010 Cadillac STS?

To replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) for Bank 2 Sensor 1 there are few prerequisite steps that must be followed: first, be certain, the ignition is OFF. If this becomes necessary, take off the fuel injector sight shield. Lift and support the vehicle, and disconnect the HO2S electric connector loosening it from the wiring harness bracket. Carefully handle the HO2S and the O2S and make sure they are neither contaminated nor dropped or roughly handled. It becomes easier to remove the oxygen sensor once the engine has gone beyond 48°C (120°F). After removing the HO2S, apply anti seizes conta PP N 5613695 or equivalent to the threads of a reused sensor as new service sensors should already narrow this compound applied. Mount the HO2S, and tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb ft), and reconnect the HO2S electrical connection and install it on the wiring harness bracket. Finally, lower the vehicle and reinstall a fuel injector sight shield if you took that out.
